Samples are removed and holes progressively rehabilitated.
OUR CURRENT ESG FOCAL POINTS
Chilwa Minerals Limited intend to:

Develop, manage and implement a comprehensive HSEC Management System (HSECMS) in line with the Applicable Standards.

Achieve HSEC compliance and performance objectives through the integration of suitable policies, plans, programs and procedures that address HSEC risks and impacts.

Ensure regular monitoring, auditing and evaluation is undertaken on Project HSEC performance.

Facilitate stakeholder engagement (i.e. with lenders, communities, local leadership etc.) to avoid potential blockages due to a lack of social license to operate.

Ensure efficient communication among staff, contractors and stakeholders to collaboratively and proactively address HSEC issues.

Improve the HSEC skills of staff, contractors and stakeholders via training programmes.

Implement environmental monitoring and protection programmes, including sediment control, waste and hazardous waste management, water quality, fuel handling and storage, biodiversity and wildlife protection, and protection of culturally significant sites.
